The application will now be considered in line with the current adopted local plan (Badenoch and Strathspey Local Plan 1997), but will assist in providing housing for this local plan and its housing needs. ] GS/H2: A 3.25Ha site to the north of Beachen Court with capacity for around 50 dwellings. The site is known to be used by wading birds and would require more detailed survey to establish the ecological importance of the site and the impact of any development. GS/ED1: [ The existing caravan and camping site provides continued support to the provision of tourism accommodation within Grantown on Spey and will be protected from adverse development.
